The Laboratory is qualified to provide services to the community, upon request or protocol in the following fields:
• Friction and wear behavior of materials and components
• Design of hydrodynamic bearings (journal bearings)
• Viscosity measurements of fluids and determination of viscosity-temperature characteristic curves
• Comparative analysis of extreme pressure (EP) characteristics of lubricating oils
• Consulting on the design and diagnosis of mechanical components malfunction
